1 DAYARUSHA NATIONAL PARK SAFARI.

Arusha national park is located in the north eastern part of Tanzania and its one of the national parks that can be visited on a one day safari. The national park was established in 1960 and covers a total area of 552 square kilometers which makes it one of the smallest protected areas in Tanzania. Arusha national park has rich biodiversity which is comprised of vegetation types like savannah, alpine, lush rainforest, Montane forest, breathtaking alkaline Momela Lakes,   Ngurdoto crater and rugged Mount Meru which is the second highest mountain in Tanzania and fifth highest in Africa.

During the one day safari in Arusha national park you will be picked from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi early morning and start the journey to the park where you will participate in one of the exciting activities in the park such as game drives where you will be able to view animals like giraffes, leopards, zebras, waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, primates like blue monkeys, guided nature walks which give you an opportunity to explore the park on foot and get close and personal with animals, mountain climbing where you will climb Mount Meru, bird watching where you will view migratory, water, endemic and near endemic bird species like  red fronted parrot, African fish eagle, augur buzzard, spur winged goose, secretary bird, tawny eagle, bar tailed trogon. After having lunch in a special area, you will continue game-drive and will drive you to the furthest part of the park the Momela lakes where you can see pink flamingos as well as many other animals on your way.
